The music collection of Josef Jan Šimůnek, a regenschori from the Church of St. Wenceslas in Paseky nad Jizerou, contains both church and chamber music. Most of the preserved music manuscripts was copied in the first half of the 19th century, especially by the cantor Šimůnek, while many items were copied by members of the Kučera and Janouš cantor families. The church repertoire includes masses (with one requiem), offertories and sacred songs (arias, antiphonies, hymns). From chamber music there are mainly duets for two violins, clarinets or bassoons (Pleyel, as well as anonymous compositions), symphonies (Haydn, Hoffmeister, Jírovec, Pleyel) and concertos (e.g. Concerto for flute and orchestra by Anton Heberle). Curiosities and rarities from this collection include e.g. Song to the Stationes by J. Šimůnek copied by Věnceslav Metelka, Parthia in B for two clarinets, two french horns and bassoon by the unknown composer Průšek copied by František Vodseďálek in 1803 or the pastorela Hey, little girls, run to Bethlehem by J. I. Linka copied by J. Šimůnek, which is probably one of the oldest in the collection. Let us also draw attention to several pieces by Dominik Ignaz Schwertner, a cantor from Stráž nad Nisou (three masses and two offertories).

(snad z kůru paseckého kostela?), jednak různé jednotlivosti komorní hudby z téže doby.
